The Purpose of the Association and the Working Subjects and Forms and Field of Activity to be Continued by the Association to Achieve this Purpose
The association aims to ensure the activation and development of scientific activities in the field of Mediterranean Archeology, to protect and support the conservation of cultural heritage in the coastal and underwater, to carry out awareness studies in the protection of cultural heritage, to support scientific excavations and research, to support museum and archeopark projects in the region, to carry out scientific activities and it was established to support scientists and organizations working on the subject. The association was founded in Antalya by a group of archaeologists, businessmen and tourism professionals.
The Association operates, coastal and underwater archeology; protection of underwater and land-based cultural heritage; Supporting laboratories working in the conservation and restoration of the artifacts found underwater and on land, scientific studies for conservation and restoration, education and awareness activities in the preserving of cultural heritage, training activities on archeology and history, and within the framework of bringing cultural heritage values to tourism, in order to bring museum and archeopark areas to Turkey.
